A little bit about Laura

Laura began playing piano when she was only 6 years old, and since then she hasn’t stopped. She has over 10 years of experience playing the Piano. Her professional degrees are all in Music. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Birmingham School of Music. She is expected to Graduate next year. This blog is a means for her to dedicate her free time to teaching piano to those who can not afford expensive individual tutors.

Update: As you have noticed, i haven’t updated my blog for years now. This is because, I have been writing Piano notes and blogs for mypianonotes.com. I will be writing Piano Notes on that site only, and will not be updating this blog. However, you can use this website’s contact form to contact me personally or check the latest fee structure.

Laura has a step by step procedure of teaching piano to her students. Before diving right into the basics of a Piano, she will first teach her students the complete concepts of music. Once music theory is clear, only then she would indulge in teaching the instrument.

She uses the same approach for kids and adults alike. Because, when it comes to music you have to start from Level 0. Unless you have previous experience, then we can customize the lessons according to student needs.

For Kids the benefits of learning Piano are plenty. It improves the overall function of their neural networks. After the course students come out with better reflexes, smarter thinking abilities, improved IQ and stress free mental state. This is true for adults too. If you are going through a stressful time in your life, learning Piano can help you relieve a lot of that stress.
